#ESCAZÚYA
The Venezuelan government remains silent about the so-called Escazú agreement, the very first latin american treaty for the protection of the environment and with a focus on safeguarding the environmentalist activist. Today Venezuela is one of 8 countries that hasn’t signed the treaty. To promote the country to sign it and fully commit to their clauses, civil society organizations, activists and indigenous people are promoting the slogan #EscazúYa.
